【Kuching NEW Restaurant】The Rooster Chicken Rice Restaurant

 

A NEW restaurant has recently opened in Kuching! And nope, this is not another new Western restaurant, but a restaurant selling a food we all love, Chicken Rice. In conjunction with the opening, there's a special offer waiting for you.

Right, let's get to the main topic, the Chicken Rice. The chicken meat is tender and juicy, accompanied by Local Ginger and freshly blended homemade chilli sambal, the chicken is on a whole new level! If you're a fan of spicy food, you NEED to try out the chilli sambal.

 

 

Despite being double the price of China Gingers, the owner chooses to use Local Ginger because of the quality and the spiciness of the ginger. The same ginger is also used to prepare the rice which gives the rice a very strong aroma.

 

Other than Chicken Rice, there are also plenty of other delicious main courses such as claypot rice, nasi lemak, noodles, and more! And, of course, there are also plenty of choices in terms of snacks and sides to go along with your meal.

 

 

Some of the snacks that you must try are these 2, Seafood Tofu and Fishcake imported from Singapore.

 

 

The owner himself is actually an experienced cook which is why he pays a lot of attention to every tiny details in the foods prepared. The owner also puts a lot of effort into the decorations in the restaurant.

 

 

Some of the decorations are items from WW1, WW2, and some are from the older days in Kuching and Singapore.

 

 

The owner is also very friendly (and handsome XD) and very positive to feedbacks. So, kindly let him know of any suggestion and feedbacks you might have.
