【Great Sang Nyuk Mian in Town!】 @ Kedai Kopi Kim Hing Lee 金興利茶室

By Ashley Sim May Yee, on Jan 10, 2018

Established since 1982, Kedai Kopi Kim Hing Lee 金興利茶室 is one of the very first Sabahan who started selling Sang Nyuk Mian (生肉面) a.k.a Pork Noodle at Sinsuran, KK. Until today, Kim Hing Lee have been in business for more than 30 years; and they’ve expanded to a few branches in Sabah, KL and recently opened one in Kuching which is located at TT3 Commercial Centre, Jalan Canna (next to Taka Patisserie). Kuchinglangs, REJOICE, as now you don’t have to fly all the way to KK to try this Sabah’s iconic food. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

From the outside, you can easily notice the charcoal stoves which they use to boil the ingredients.

The best highlight of Sang Nyuk Mian is its thinness of the pork slices. Each slice is evenly thin and smooth; the soup is exceptionally tasty; and the bowl of dry noodles is full of lard aroma. You can also opt for mihun or kuey teow (soup/dry). Another reason to love Sang Nyuk Mian is the Crispy Pork Lard also known as “Zhu Yu Zha” in Chinese. ლ(´ڡ`ლ) You can even ask them to add more for only RM0.50. The biggest bowl is priced at RM14 and it is full of Pork Shank, Kidney, Liver, Intestines and Meatballs that can fill you up in minutes. ≧☉_☉≦ Also, I recommend you to eat your Sang Nyuk Mian with their chilli sauce. If you’re a spicy eater, then you’ll definitely enjoy the taste of their chilli sauce. Just dip the pork slices into the sauce, and immediately you will feel the spiciness kicking in! Shiok lor! ~(˘▾˘~)

What’s more, you can also try their Fried Yong Tofu. Crispy and aromatic, you’ll love it! ♥‿♥

So jio your family and friends this weekend to Kim Hing Lee and try their famous Sang Nyuk Mian. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ ✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)
