[Crocodile Meat For The Adventurous Palate!] @ Stall 166 Mr Crocodile (Kuching Festival 2019)

By Ashley Sim May Yee on Jul 30, 2019

The crocodile’s tough, scaly skin, and sharp incisors would make you imagine that it is hardly palatable. However, this nutritionally rich meat tastes like chicken. Curious to try? Then head to Stall 166 “Mr Crocodile” at Kuching Festival tonight.

This year, Stall 166 has no roast alligator meat. But there’s crocodile fried dumplings, crocodile deep-fried meatballs, and crocodile burgers. The meatballs are deep-fried until golden brown which makes it crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The meat is a mixture of crocodile and pork. As for the crocodile burgers, the meat consists of crocodile, pork, and chicken. Flavor-wise, very umami. And if you’re not a crocodile meat eater, no worries, as they have pork dumplings too.
