The Container, since its opening roughly half a year ago, charmed the hearts of many Kuchingites with their extensive menu that does not limit themselves to only Western cuisines, but also Asian Fusion, Western-Asian Fusion, delicate desserts, aromatic coffee, as well as the ice cold beers that makes a perfect evening after a long hectic day at work.

 

 

With the huge empty compound surrounding it, The Container ensures that all of the patrons can dine conveniently without having too much time spent looking for a parking space.

 

 

If you haven’t had the chance to visit The Container, you would be as equally as amazed as we were when we first stepped into the restaurant. There are seatings on the ground floor as well as the first floor, with a choice of the fully air-conditioned interior seatings and the breezy and comfortable exterior seating to enjoy your meal. Each of these different sections can also be booked for any kinds of events, party, or celebrations too! All you need is to call and book one week prior without any additional fees needed~~

 

The Container is the most crowded during the night, but did you know that you could also enjoy their delicious Set Lunch during the day? From 11.30am to 2pm daily, you can have the set lunch menu for only RM10++. Better yet, the set lunch comes with a FREE drink!

 

The first dish that we would like to recommend from the Set Lunch is this「Nasi Lemak Chicken」! The homemade and fragrant sambal coupled with the huge piece of fried chicken will provide you a very very satisfying lunch! （♡∀♡）

 

 

Next on the list is the「Ayam Penyet」with a fragrant, tender, and juicy deep fried chicken thigh meat that comes with 2 different types of specially made sauce to bring the flavours of the chicken to a whole new level.

 

 

For a change of flavours, the「Buttermilk Chicken Rice」is the perfect choice for you! The butter chicken is so rich in flavours that when you take one bite of the chicken, the rest of the plate will be gone in seconds! A bit exaggerating there, but it is just that good! (≧∇≦)

 

 

If you’re craving for noodles for lunch, this「Signature Fried Mee with Prawns & Fish Fillet」is yours. The noodles are stir fried with maximum flavours and carries along with it a little gravy, allowing the noodles to be super smooth and satisfying. The dish also comes with deep fried fish fillets and prawns to add more satisfaction to your lunch!

 

 

The【Set Lunch Promotion】is available from 11.30am to 2pm daily! Buy any of the items in the set lunch menu and you can get one of these drinks for FREE!

For dinner, we would like to recommend you something different, the more special items on their menu.

 

First is the「Pan-Fried Spaghetti Laksa」! Yep! Pan-Fried Spaghetti LAKSA~~~ The spaghetti noodles carries just the right amount of laksa flavour, not too heavy not too light. The noodles are not too dry but carries a little gravy. Different, but delicious!

 

 

Next we have another creative fusion dish, the「Bolognese Kueh Tiaw 」!!! The chef covers the stir fried kueh tiaw with delicious Bolognese sauce, giving the kueh tiaw a slight sour and sweet taste, and surprisingly, these 2 matches very well! Other than that, the dish also comes with a stir fried Bidin which is also topped with the same Bolognese sauce. You could have the bidin on its own, or you could mix it together with the kueh tiaw to create a different harmony of texture and flavour.

 

 

Chicken Chop? Try something different la… like this「Salted Egg Chicken Maryland 」. Crispy, juicy, deep fried chicken chop covered with breadcrumbs comes with a salted egg sauce that will blast open your appetite! (─‿‿─)♡

 

 

If you have a bigger group when you’re there at The Container (or if you’re really hungry), don’t hold back and order this「Signature Salted Chicken」 as well~! Salt, stir fried and wrapped with the chicken and baked to perfection to create this dish that will make you drool the instant the paper wrapper is cut open. Seriously, we highly recommend that you try this dish.

 

 

The desserts that can be found here at The Container are just extraordinary. The desserts are specially baked and made by a special bakery located right next to the restaurant. All of the cakes and desserts are made fresh, and if you like them, you could even have custom made desserts and cakes for your personal event or parties!

 

 

The cakes are made fresh daily, so the cakes may differ from day to day. But if you happen to see this Matcha Crepe Cake, DO NOT LET IT SLIP THROUGH YOUR HANDS!!!! It doesn’t matter if you’re a matcha lover or not, you will love this cake as much as we did!

 

 

You could have their beverages such as the Chocolate Peppermint to go along your meal, or you could choose from more than 10 different ice cold beers straight from the fridge! ㄟ(≧∀≦ㄟ)
