Imperial Bak Kut Teh was established 6 years ago with its Claypot Bak Kut Teh that is more inclined to the taste from South Malaysia. Despite the inclination of the taste, the dry and soup Bak Kut Teh from Imperial is still the favourite spot for many who know of this place for the past 6 years.

Bak Kut Teh is best enjoyed at lunch and dinner, but it’s really not easy to locate delicious Bak Kut Teh at night because they are mostly sold out. But Imperial opens during the lunch, take a short break in the middle and re-opens at night to provide their loyal customers a place for Bak Kut Teh as dinner~!

First on the list, we have their signature Claypot Soup Bak Kut Teh~

As mentioned earlier, the taste of the Bak Kut Teh here is more inclined towards the South Malaysians’ flavour, therefore the taste of the Bak Kut Teh carries a very strong chinese herbal taste such as Tong Kui and more. Healthy and delicious soup base, coupled with perfectly cooked pork rib that are neither too hard or too chewy~

Next in line we have the Claypot Dry Bak Kut Teh with 3 layered pork and pork ribs stir fried with sambal, dried shrimp, belacan, and dried chilli under strong heat to create the perfect pot of dry Bak Kut Teh. Saltiness, mild spiciness, and the fragrance of the whole dish as a whole will let you swallow more than 2 bowls of rice in no time!

Other than these 2, there’s also the Claypot Sambal Pork Leg that you should watch out for. Order all these 3 together and you’ll deeply fell in love with the place! The pork leg is not too fat and carries a perfect amount of meat. The pork leg when cooked in their specially made sambal, creates the best pork leg dish I’ve ever tasted!

For some sides, you could order their blanched Green Vege with crispy texture and refreshing veggie taste.

Or, you can go for this Cheese Omelette.

According to the owner, a lot of his customer will order this side dish to go along their Bak Kut Teh. And once we tasted it, it is quite obvious why. Clamped in the omelette with crispy skin is rich cheese and salty minced meat. The mild saltiness of these 3 elements mixed together to form the perfect companion for their scallion rice and their Bak Kut Teh dishes.

And let’s not forget to mention that this Cheese Omelette is a result of their creativity too!

The best drink to go with Bak Kut Teh is a steaming hot pot of Bak Kut Teh, but here are Imperial, you can also find these homemade drinks that are perfectly healthy and can wash away all your bodily heat…
