Two things can make your mood instantly better: looking at pretty things and eating sweets. Need a midday pick-me-up? Pzhen Deelite has cakes that will definitely make you feel better! They are so delightfully decorated, it feels almost a waste to eat them! But we promise you, they are as delicious as they are beautiful.

 

 

The baked goods come out fresh from the oven daily, ever since they opened October last year. With everything from Cupcakes, Roll Cakes, Birthday Cakes and 3D Model Cakes, there are also many flavours to choose from.

 

Located in Jalan Tabuan Tranquility, Pzhen Deelite isn’t just a bakery though. They have the Pzhen Deelite Academy right upstairs where you can pick up the Bake and Cake Arts full-time or just take holiday classes. In their store, they also sell baking and decorating supplies. For those baking enthusiasts looking to save time and money, they even rent cake pans of all sorts of fun shapes!

 

 

When you walk in, the first thing you see in the refrigerator counter is the series of Cupcakes. With a total of 11 flavours, each is decorated intricately. A common theme is rose swirls of various soft and dreamy colours. Some are dusted with crumb or cheese, or topped with jelly, oreos or dried cranberries. The cake itself is light and not dry at all. And guess what, the more you buy, the cheaper it is!

 

 

The Birthday Cakes here also look super tasteful. For a 6x6 inch cake, prices are as low as RM30! The cake is topped with freshly whipped cream. You can also have any photo of your choosing printed on top! If you’re just dropping in to grab one, remember that there are a limited number of cakes each day.

 

 

Also worth mentioning is their Cheese Cakes. There are 6 flavours: New York Cheese, Walnut Cheese, Tiramisu Cheese, Philippines Chocolate Brownie and Red Velvet. They’re sold in slices for RM8 to RM10, but if you want a whole cake, you can make your order early.

 

 

Here comes their specialty: 3D Model Cakes! You can see samples of these attention-grabbing cakes even from outside the glass windows of the store. On display are cakes that look like a ferris wheel, a hot air balloon and a carousel. Because these cakes are built with care and effort, it’s going to take some time. Some of the ingredients have to be flown in from Hong Kong, even! If you have a big event coming out, be sure to place your order 3 to 4 months prior.

 

 

The Roll Cakes here are a popular pick with flavours Strawberry, Pandan, Coffee and Chocolate. The cake is spongy and soft in texture, with a rich layer of cream rolled in between. Our favorite was the Pandan-flavoured one, which had a really fragrant taste to it.

 

 

Last on our recommendation list are the Cookies. Even these tiny confectionaries are decorated like art! Packaged in fours, you can get them in colorful star or round-shaped pieces. The cookies have a nice crunch to it without being hard.

 

 

This is your One-Stop Cake Haven, no matter if you wanna eat a cake or bake a cake! Take note that it’s open Mondays to Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. Even if cake isn’t your cup of tea, there are still breads, buns or cookies.
