[Good Food, Good Coffee, Good Memories!] @ Island Society Le Paradis Cafe

Looking for that one place to sit down, chill, and be away from all the brisk businesses and bustling roads? Well, you’ve found it.

Located in iCom Square (next to 38 Food Street), ‘Island Society Le Paradis Cafe’ pretty much resembles a chic European cafe. In front of the cafe you can see a beautiful wishing well which you can make a wish and then throw a coin into it. The coins will then be collected to be donated to charity. Upon entering, you’ll find the interior design is downright eye-catching. Equipped with warm lighting and fancy decorations, you can rest assured that nothing will come in between you and your relaxing zone. If you’re considering this place for a romantic date, you can never go wrong. As a bonus, you’d also be greeted by friendly and helpful staff and the bubbly owner herself. The owner, who is a coffee and health enthusiast designed the menu to be health related which combines both local and international cuisine.

Besides the regular type of coffee such as Cappuccino, Mocha, Latte, etc., Island Society serves specialty coffee too that is not commonly found in Kuching. They have Cyanobacteria Latte, Matcha Latte, Bamboo Charcoal Latte, and Decaffeinated Beetroot Latte. These drinks are not only unique and delicious, but also healthy.

Island Society also have some killer cakes that will send you into indulgence mode as well, forgetting everything that's happening beyond the door. Highly recommended cakes are the Teh Tarik Cheesecake and Salted Caramel Cheesecake. The Teh Tarik Cheesecake is a simple-looking treat, but the blend of flavors are "a match made in heaven". As for the Salted Caramel Cheesecake, every bite of it is amazing! Do give their Marble Cheesecake and Matcha Cheesecake a try too.
